Very nice place. Stayed over night and was met by a very friendly owner, who upgraded me for free due to limited rooms available. Rooms were very clean, with Bell Satellite TV, a decent sized mini fridge, and microwave for those who use them. A coffee maker was in the room too. Beds were comfortable, and enjoyed the cool breeze through the open windows. It is only a few minutes out of town, but a great country setting up Highway 11. Definitely will stay again.
The motel is operated by an Indian family, very friendly and welcoming people. The check-in was quick. This was one of the few things that I liked, besides good mattresses and recently changed carpet. I didn't like that although my room was a non-smoking room, it had a strong cigarette smell. On the room door it says that they recently extended the number of non-smoking rooms in the motel. Maybe mine was a smoking room before. The towels were not crispy white, rather yellow with spots - couldn't use them. Everything else in the room was dated. I don't think it's a 2-star hotel, rather 1 star. The motel is located 7 km North from North Bay. Easy to access from highway and short drive.
It was affordable. Front desk people are friendly. Had a good sleep. I'd go there again if and when I come by into North Bay

The Motel is located 7 km north of the University of Nipissing on Hwy 11. If you are doing business at the school, this makes this venue one of the most affordable and comfortable to stay at.The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much for them to do. All their care is rendered with courtesy and every problem is handled personally and immediately.My check in was simple and flawless. My room was more than I expected. It was not dated. Fresh paint, tastefully appointed, modern bathroom and fixtures took me back. I had two queen beds instead of one and without a price increase.TV, Internet and all appliances worked.I had three issues. I couldn't figure out the remotes. I called the office and it was handled immediately and personally by the owner and he did so pleasantly.The ceiling lights did not work. The supplied my room with two extra lamps immediately. Problem solved.The coffee maker had not been cleaned after the previous customer left. I wasn't happy about that but I cleaned it myself. Problem solved.Lastly, on my second day, the manager called to see if there was anything I needed. I asked for a box of tissues, a power bar and two more packets of hot chocolate and more sugar. It arrived in less that three minutes.I'm going back. I'm bringing my family. I recommend this Motel highly. Enjoy your stay.
